Deborah Hansen is native Californian living in Northern Virginia. Fiber Forms was inspired by observing the growth and decay of plant life seen in the verdant Virginia forest. Deborah creates imaginative botanical structures by wrapping natural forms with linen, silk, repurposed denim, cotton, and wool. Lichen and moss are reimagined using mohair and various fibers. Each whimsical one of a kind piece is meticulously made.
